Jan 5, 2009 - why?

hynes0505 Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - i think the wrestler is up for best picture; also Australia was awful so I hope to god it isn't even mentioned at the Oscars

LickMyCuntMoFo Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - Because Heath Ledger gave a completely unoriginal performance in a overated movie.I have nothing ageniest him and liked him since Monster's Ball. But, if he were alive we wouldn't be hearing about this Oscar "buzz"Besides I think Josh Brolin really gives the Best Supporting performance of the year.

Jan 5, 2009 - agree those were all fantastic - but overall i think this has been a pretty WEAK year for movies. i can barely name 10 that are deserving of a best picture nom...

artmania1990 Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - god forbid

thequeenlives Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - Best Picture is The Curious Case of Ben ButtonBest actress is Angelina Jolie.Best Director is David Fincher.

hynes0505 Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - i doubt that. all this joker buzz began before he died. it's actually why i began watching all his movies. i never got into heath ledger until i had read about his performance in the dark knight while he was still alive. i mean his death obviously added to the buzz, but he stole every scene in the movie to the point where it was painful anticipating his next scene. josh brolin was good, but i thought emile hersch or however you spell his last name stole the supporting spot in milk. my opinion

MAMMAmiaXo Says:

Jan 6, 2009 - One of the best rated movie by critics this year is The Wrestler yet the only real oscar buzz ive heard about the film is Mickey Rourke who deserves it by the way. It really suprises me that a film so loived by all critics hasnt even been mentioned as having a chance at best pic
