Concluding portion of Prince Rama Varma's sublime rendition of the Swathi Thirunal Bhajan "japath Japath Hari Naam" tuned in four Ragas by Varmaji himself. Here we have the ragas Behag and Sindhubhairavi. The timing at the Navarathri Mandapam is maintained very strictly and a bell chimes at 8:30 pm when the musician has to stop, even if he were halfway through a song. We can witness Varmaji's impeccable sense of timing by observing the clock in the video screen itself.
