This means that every human since Adam and Eve walked the earth until now and into the future fall short of the perfect, the one and only almighty God. You must be born again (John 3:3). Being born again is Jesus Christ's plan of salvation for the entire world. In other words, you MUST hate sin. You must have a burning desire to seek the path of Jesus Christ. When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, receiving Him into your life and allowing His Holy Spirit to guide you (Psalm 139:23-24), His righteousness becomes yours and you become saved and can enter the Kingdom of God. As a human being, it is impossible to be perfect as Jesus was perfect (Romans 3:23), however, if a person truly believes in Jesus Christ and his Gospel, that person will have a burning desire to repent of any sin that does not allow a closer walk with Jesus Christ. Repentance is an ongoing process and part of the journey to walking every day closer and closer with the Lord Jesus Christ (1 John 2:1-6). The Bible is your 'Instruction Manual'. If you don't have one, get one.
